Increased Sanity February 21, 2006
Slightly more sanity to the day today, so I’ve had a chance to sort out few lines we’ve got marked for clearance (the first few are listed below).
Having spent several weeks and tried several methods to recover data from a fried DiamondMax Plus9 at the end of last year, we’re left with two surplus PCBs. If they’re of any use to anyone trying to recover data, get in touch and I’ll pass on the full spec’s - no need for them so just send a SAE.
Remembering how sickened I was at the thought of losing several years’ worth of family photos to an engineering issue rather than the (much more) usual human type, I did a quick search earlier for anyone needing a helping hand (the effect of My Name is Earl???) - it took me weeks to track down PCBs that didn’t involve firing £hundreds off to a black hole somewhere in Malaysia so I feel your pain. No immediate takers, but there are threads on the topic everywhere.
Having been struck twice by the same variety of lightening, both work and home networks now sport RAID, automated backup to an external HDD and monthly archiving to DVD which is stored off the premises. Better over-reacting late than not reacting at all!

For reference in future pages, if you’re looking at an older, archived post then technolgy being what it is, it’s quite possible that pricing has dropped further since the message was posted so do please go the main website and request a quote.
For the full list, take a look at the clearance section of the store.
To search our inventory, request a price or source a part, start in our database, here, or email us if you would prefer.
